Walking and its Benefits

Walking can be a very social and effective way to start a cardiovascular exercise habit and a good chance for weight loss.  It is also something that most of us can do relatively easily and, if time is a constraint,  incorporate into our busy lifestyles.

Walking programs can include aspects of active living as well as provide challenging work-outs using gradients and speed to vary the intensity of sessions.  Walking is also an excellent low-impact active-recovery activity for use between harder training sessions.
